Willie Quinn rejoins Apollos
With the injury to primary punt returner Marvin Bracy-Williams Jr. on Saturday, the Apollos are bringing back WR Willie Quinn.
Bracy-Williams suffered a fractured forearm on a muffed punt in the 2nd quarter of the Apollos 40-6 win over Atlanta. According to Head Coach Steve Spurrier, Bracy-Williams will be out 4 to 5 weeks.
Replacing Bracy-Williams is WR Willie Quinn. Quinn was with the team in training camp, but picked up an injury and did not make the final roster. Though not Olympics fast, Quinn is himself a speedster in the mold of Darren Sproles and Tarik Cohen. He’s only 5’6″, but is elusive and should be a nice fit to this Apollos squad.
