AAF Overtime Rules Unveiled
The Alliance of American Football is quickly becoming known for its interesting rule changes. One of the rule changes that has been kept under wraps until now is the overtime rule. Needless to say, it’s a bit different than the NFL.
The overtime rule is actually fairly simple: each team gets the ball once & whoever scores more points wins. If the score is still tied, the game ends in a tie. Similar to college, each team gets the ball at the 10 yard line and has four downs to score. That’s it. Plain and simple.
The only change is to playoff overtime. In the playoffs, it is sudden death, first team to score wins.
